Art beyond borders: Global artistes Unite at Austria Inclusivity Festival
Under the Alpine skies of Austria, the World Peace One Inclusivity Festival at The Power Band Festival brought together 65 artistes from across the globe in a vibrant celebration of inclusivity, music and cultural exchange. The event featured neurodivergent performers alongside internationally acclaimed artistes, turning the stage into a powerful symbol of unity and artistic freedom.
Curated by visionary artiste Christof Hot, the festival highlighted the idea of art without barriers. Hot also performed during the evening, reflecting the spirit of collaboration and fearless creative expression that shaped the event.
One of the highlights of the festival was a Bharatnatyam performance by Sohini Roychowdhury. Blending meditative grace with dynamic rhythmic movements, her performance introduced audiences to the richness of Indian classical dance through expressive mudras and storytelling. The performance was accompanied by sitar player Indro Roychowdhury, whose evocative ragas added depth and emotion to the evening. Tabla player Sanjib Pal complemented the presentation with energetic rhythms, creating a seamless dialogue between music and movement. The evening concluded with artistes from different countries, traditions and abilities coming together on stage in a moving finale celebrating peace, inclusivity and shared humanity. Marked on the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, the closing performance became a tribute to cultural harmony and the universal language of art.
