Selena Gomez has been dazzling all around Hollywood with a diamond ring around her finger, and the anticipation surges every time she becomes coy. Giving an update about the nuptials, the 32-year-old expressed why she feels better that they weren't dating 10 years ago.
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco fit perfectly right now
Recently, the makeup mogul expressed that she’s glad not to have had a relationship with the music producer 10 years earlier – only because she’s mature now. Channeling the energy of Mr. Right place at the right time, Selena Gomez said, “It's weird to think that only five years ago I wouldn't have been in the right place, but I’ve learned so many lessons [since then] that led me to being the best partner I could be for Benny. And I believe the same with him.”
Recalling the conversation, she expressed that Blanco asked why they wasted so much time even after knowing each other. Her response? “You wouldn't have liked me back then. I was all over the place,” in an interview with Allure.
Martin Short is the ring bearer
During a hilarious conversation with
Jimmy Fallon on his talk show, the host congratulated the singer for her upcoming ceremony, making her face all scarlet. When he asked whether she was having fun planning all the details, Gomez claimed that it was wonderful and going really well, adding that she’s excited with the biggest smile on her face.
Furthermore, the ‘Rare’ singer confirmed that her ‘Only Murders in the Building’ co-stars would be part of the wedding as well. In fact, Martin Short has been declared the official ring bearer. As the audience laughed, he quickly knelt to the ground and quipped, “Here’s your ring, Selena. Take it.”
“We are all excited because we love this lady, and we love her fiancé,
Bad Bunny,” he added. The perplexed audience and the host laughed at the response, and Gomez quickly affirmed, “Benny Blanco!”
