Singer St Vincent is set to direct her first feature film, a big screen adaptation of Oscar Wilde's classic novel 'The Picture of Dorian Gray'.
'Elle' writer David Birke will adapt the philosophical novel.
The book follows a beautiful but self-absorbed man who sells his soul in order to retain his beauty, letting his portrait age in his stead.
However, in the film, Dorian Gray will be a woman.
Vincent previously directed a segment in the all-female horror anthology 'XX'.
