No added shows for Ye (formerly Kanye West) in India confirm organisers of his Delhi concert
American rapper, songwriter Ye (Kanye West officially changed his name to Ye in October 2021), is all set to perform in Delhi on March 29 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. In collaboration with Wizcraft Global and Laqshya Media Group, the concert is being positioned as one of the most ambitious standalone music events ever attempted in the country.
On the lines of John Mayer, this too will be a one show only concert. A source reveals, “Before fans queued up for tickets online, the pre-registration numbers hovered around 2 lakh. This will be Ye’s first ever show in India and unlike most concerts, this is not a tour stop, not a festival appearance, and not part of a multi-city run. It is one day, one show, one night in Delhi, Ye’s only confirmed performance in India.”

He added, “The Delhi show is being designed as a custom-built production created exclusively for the desi audience, with large-format visuals, expansive stage design and stadium-scale sound engineering forming the backbone of the experience.”
Shaju Ignatius - CEO & Chief Evangelist Live Events, Laqshya Media Group said, “Hosting YE for a single, standalone show challenges every operational benchmark this industry has known so far. There will be no second date, no extension, no repetition. It will mark a new ceiling for what is possible in this country.” Aman Kumar of Whitefox said, “Ye is a multi–Grammy Award winner and a global cultural force whose influence extends far beyond music. Hosting him for one exclusive night in Delhi reflects the scale of ambition the Indian live entertainment industry is ready to embrace.”
