Pop/Alternative Rock: Drops of Jupiter was a big hit by Train and a song that even people who did not own their album, had heard about. This album offers much of the same elements that made them popular. If catchy, mid-paced songs are their aim, this one pretty much hits the bullseye. Another interesting factor is that this time, the lyrics are more accessible than their previous works.

Cadillac Cadillac at first listen sounds like the all-too-common lament of a story about a man who is interested in a girl who doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. However, the songwriters have left room for lyrical ambiguity enough for it to be about a girl who likes a guy too. Give It All is about the enormous sacrifices we are ready to make, and things we are ready to give up in order to be with someone we love. Don’t Grow Up So Fast is about parents wishing their kids would not grow up too fast and leave them in the lurch. Indeed, all of the other songs are this direct and absent of what are known as ‘word salad lyrics’ – a jumble of words while sounding interesting, mean very little. The flipside is that they do not elevate themselves with a unique sound. I Will Remember, Just a Memory and Angel In Blue Jeans sounds pretty much like any contemporary alternative group today.
