Kevin Federline issues a statement about Britney Spears’ DUI arrest

Reported by TMZ on March 6, Federline issued his stance on Spears’ arrest in California through his legal reps. The statement talked about the incident, sharing that he is open to helping the singer if any assistance is required of any kind.




The statement further read, “Kevin hopes for the best for Britney and if help is necessary, he hopes that she will neither resist it or those who are attempting to work with her. The concern is whether this is just a one off or a one more.”

Model and actor Sam Asghari, who Spears also dated briefly also issued a statement about the matter. Reacting to the news while talking to Fox News, he shared that “When it comes to people making mistakes, I understand that. I think that everyone deserves privacy. And I hope the press has learned from the past, that they give her the privacy that she needs.”

TMZ reported that Spears had been arrested in California under suspicion of driving her car under the influence. She was spotted speeding and swerving between lanes rapidly before she was intercepted and taken into custody. She was arrested on Wednesday earlier this week and was released by the authorities the following day. Her legal team also issued a statement and addressed the news, citing that the singer knows what happened was wrong, and that she is willing to comply with everything legall.
