Chris Lake reveals Travis Kelce was the reason behind ‘Opalite’ remix; Taylor Swift calls him ‘my in-house house guy’

DJ Chris Lake just released his brand-new remix for Taylor Swift’s latest hit ‘Opalite,’ and fans cannot seem to get enough of it! In a recent social media post, the musician detailed how the remix came to be, and how Swift’s longtime beau, Travis Kelce, was the reason behind the project.

Taking to his social media post in collaboration with Kelce, Chris Lake opened up about how he created the hit remix of ‘Opalite.’ He shared a series of screenshots in the post, showing how he reached out to Travis Kelce to thank him and Swift for listening to his music. In reply to his message, Kelce called him a legend. The post was shared with the caption, “When @killatrav & @taylorswift hit you about an official remix.. you get it done :).”




The NFL star’s response to the message read “Chris! You're a legend bro love everything you come out with, and Chemistry is one of my favorite albums I listen to right now!! Can't to see how you put it together man.” He further revealed that two days later, when he shared the remix with Kelce, the player could not contain his excitement about the new music.

Kelce’s response to the track read, “It's so good dawg, I'm gonna be rippin this s--- every car ride. She loves it too!! She said her teams gonna reach out asap!” In response, Swift reposted the images to her stories section and joked about it. She added the caption, “Confirmed. Travis is my in-house house guy.”
