Charlie Puth performs National Anthem at Super Bowl 2026, wins fans’ praise- watch
Pop-star Charlie Puth set the tone of the 2026 Super Bowl with the soulful delivery of the American National anthem at the Levi’s Stadium field, Santa Clara, California. Puth stood on a white platform on the field to play keyboard while singing “The Star-Spangled Banner.” He was backed by a band and choir, which added extra depth to his pop-style rendition.
One fan wrote why Charlie should be a “bigger artist.”
Puth revealed in a November Instagram post that he would be singing the national anthem and wrote, "I can't believe I'm saying this. … I will be performing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LX."
He described the song as "one of the most beautiful pieces of music" in the video but also pointed out it is one of "the hardest to sing" thanks to the "extreme vocal range" needed.
