Former model Chloe Goins has sued Playboy boss
Hugh Hefner for allegedly "conspiring" to allow
Bill Cosby to sexually assault young women at his Playboy mansion. According to a report in The Hindu, Goins filed a federal civil suit in United States District Court in California’s Central District against Cosby last year. Goins claimed that she was just a teenager when Cosby allegedly forced himself upon her at a party organised at the Playboy mansion in 2008.
She claimed that she was offered a spiked drink by Cosby.
After she had the drink, she felt dizzy and sick and then Cosby escorted her to a room and assaulted her. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office declined to file criminal charges in the case at the end of last year, and Goins voluntarily dismissed her federal lawsuit without prejudice in February.
Goins and her legal team got the opportunity to open up the case at a later date since the matter was voluntarily dismissed without prejudice. Goins has re-filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court accusing Cosby of the same actions and adding the 90-year-old
Playboy
boss as a defendant.
