Sinqua Walls joins James Gunn’s 'Man of Tomorrow' as Superman sequel films in Atlanta - Report

Sinqua Walls has joined 'Man of Tomorrow', James Gunn’s follow-up to last year’s 'Superman'. The DC Studios film is now filming in Atlanta, with David Corenswet returning as Superman and Nicholas Hoult back as Lex Luthor. Walls’ role has not been revealed, and the studio did not comment on his casting. The sequel is scheduled to release on July 9, 2027.According to The Hollywood Reorter, Walls is the latest actor to board 'Man of Tomorrow'. Details about his character are being kept under wraps. DC Studios had no comment on the casting.Walls is known for his work across film and television. He appeared in the 2000s TV drama 'Friday Night Lights' and recently starred in Peacock’s limited series 'Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist'. The series also featured Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson and Don Cheadle.On the film side, Walls led Hulu’s remake of 'White Men Can’t Jump' opposite Jack Harlow. He also appeared in Netflix’s 'Carry-On' as the best friend of Taron Egerton’s TSA agent. His recent credits also include the horror comedy 'The Blackening' and the 2022 drama 'Mending the Line', in which he starred opposite Brian Cox as a veteran.'Man of Tomorrow' brings back several key names from Gunn’s new DC universe.
