‘Charlie’s Angels’ star Lucy Liu is known to be more of a private person when it comes to her family. The 57-year-old star recently opened up about her life as a mother to her 10-year-old son, Rockwell Lloyd. She candidly revealed more details about her bond with her son, and even joked about how he is not aware of how ‘cool’ she truly is.

While in conversation with People, Liu opened up about her son, Rockwell Lloyd, and how their relationship is. She revealed that while he knows her in the capacity of being his mother, he is not aware of how “cool” she truly is. She further quipped about the matter and added on, saying, “But he knows that I can make a killer piece of chicken, and I can heat up a nice lasagna, you know, basic mom stuff.”She even talked about which film of hers her son has seen, referring to her 2024 film ‘Red One’, which is a Christmas film based on how Santa Claus is kidnapped a day before the holiday, and his loyal friends go on a mission to rescue him before it's too late to save Christmas. “He was 9, and he was probably just a little bit under the gun to watch that. But now, after he's gotten over some of the scary creatures, he really loves it,” she added.

The actress who conceived her son through surrogacy also opened up about how grateful she is for him and how much she loves him. She also called her son her greatest teacher. Adding on, she shared during the interview that, “I say that all the time because I've never learned so much in such a short period of time. And I thought I knew it all when I was 16. Wow! What's happening?”The star will next be appearing on screen for her feature in ‘Rosemead’, which is based on a real story and follows an ailing woman who goes to strange lengths in order to protect and save her teenage son.
