She’d just gotten out of a tough breakup, so she wasn’t in the mood for some grand new romance, let alone with someone who didn’t feel like a match at all. Looking back, she called the whole thing “depressing.” In her words, “It was just such a hard no.”




However, Foster shared that the awkwardness wasn’t just on her side. She joked that she doubted Clooney was dying to go out with her, either. “I also think it wasn’t George being like, ‘Oh, set me up with Sara Foster,’” she said. It sounded more like Cindy and Rande’s idea than his. To top it off, Sara admitted she actually started crying at dinner while talking about her ex. That really killed any chance for romance.
