She had her first son, Isac, at the age of 23 with her then-boyfriend, Ludwig Hallberg, who is 22 years older than her. She revealed how she was “thrown into the deep end of work, maturity, and responsibility.”




Ferguson shared that becoming financially independent and self-reliant was always important to her, a mindset that has carried through her Hollywood career. The now 42-year-old shared, “I needed to earn my own money. I don’t want people to care for me. I don’t want someone to cover for me. You just make it work.”

She recalled, “(My son) comes to the set, I go off and leave him with the stunt guys, and I come in, and he’s hanging off a harness somewhere.”
