The Met Gala this year was nothing short of a spectacle, with celebrities bringing their creativity through their looks. BLACKPINK’s Lisa, best known for her extravagant and often dramatic looks, seems to have pulled out all the stops for the 2026 Met Gala, happening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Lisa stuns in a white gown with 3D printed hands
The 29-year-old stunned in a white gown created by fashion designer Robert Wun. The singer stole the show with her accented headpiece, which featured two 3D-printed arms that held onto a cape and was covered in a train.
The tented dress gave viewers the illusion that the singer was inside a tent and stunned everyone at the gala. As per a Vogue report, the 3D-printed arms were fashioned from the ‘Rock Star’ singer’s own arms. They were inspired to depict a traditional Thai dance pose, paying homage to her cultural roots. WWD reported further that the white mermaid-style gown was covered head to toe in 66,960 White Swarovski crystals embedded in the embroidery. The dress took around 2,860 hours of handwork to create and finalize.
While the singer has previously appeared on the Met Gala red carpet, this time around it was even more special. This was Lisa's first time joining the official hosting committee for the night. In addition to Lisa, this year the committee includes Zoë Kravitz, Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Misty Copeland, Lena Dunham, and many others.
