Mark Ruffalo teases Spider-Man and Venom crossover
Though he did not provide further details or confirm timelines, the confirmation has given way to speculation that Spider-Man will finally encounter Venom, which last saw
Tom Hardy in the lead role.
Venom and Spider-Man teased in post-credit scene
The crossover was briefly teased in post-credits scenes of 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' and 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' (2021), where Hardy’s Eddie Brock is momentarily transported into the MCU before being sent back to his own universe by Doctor Strange’s spell.

Spider-Man battles aliens in 'Avengers' films
An alien storyline may also be explored in Holland’s next outing, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', expected in July 2026. It must be noted that Spider-Man has previously faced off against aliens and even hopped on a spaceship in 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Avengers: Endgame'. However, this new rumour has left the door open for the possibility of Spidey finally coming in contact with a symbiote.
