Lil Wayne secretly engaged to woman in 20s after ending on-and-off relationship with Denise Bidot

Lil Wayne is giving love another shot.

The rapper is reportedly engaged once again. Reports on TMZ state that the 43-year-old, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr, quietly popped the question to a mystery woman earlier this year.

Although neither Wayne nor his representatives have publicly confirmed the engagement, the report states that the woman in question is said to be in her 20s and resides in Indiana.

The reported engagement comes after a turbulent period in the Grammy winner’s romantic and professional life. Lil Wayne made headlines in April for speaking out about feeling overlooked by some of the music industry’s major events, like the Grammys and Coachella.

Most recently, on the personal front, the rapper's former on-again, off-again girlfriend, Denise Bidot, accused him of ending their relationship via text message on Mother’s Day. She wrote in her post, "Breaking up with someone on Mothers [sic] Day is diabolical. Prayers up though. God always pulls me through. Walking with faith."

In a video shared online, the plus-size model also accused the rapper of alleged 'emotional and physical abuse'. She also claimed that the rapper removed her and her daughter from their shared living.

Before his relationship with Bidot, the 'Lollipop' hitmaker was engaged to model La'Tecia Thomas. The pair split in 2020. Wayne is also father to four children from previous relationships. He shares son Neal with singer Nivea, son Kameron with Lauren London, and son Dwayne Michael Carter III with radio host Sarah Vivan. He also shares daughter Reginae Carter with ex-wife Toya Johnson.
