Kirron Kher meets Kathryn Bigelow

Oblivious of her fan following in India, including followers within Bollywood, Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow was taken by surprise when veteran actress Kirron Kher confessed to have been following Kathryn’s projects closely. The two met recently in Chandigarh where they motivated each other towards great work.
Kathryn is already camping in Chandigarh for her movie “Zero Dark Thirty” while Kirron came to attend a golf event.Both of them happened to bump into each other at the golf event, where they were invited. A source told us, “At the golf function where both of them were guests, Kirron wished Kathryn for a great job in “The Hurt Locker”, which floored the Hollywood director so much that she invited Kirron to visit the sets. However, Kirron told her that she’s flying back to Mumbai enroute Delhi. But Kathryn’s sweet gesture made Kirron happy.”
Accompanying Kirron was son Sikandar Kher, who too looked elated at meeting the Hollywood director. When contacted, Kirron said, “It was a wonderful meeting and I like her work,” she added, “It was a simple meeting and went on for some time.” So do we see any Hollywood plans from the meeting for Kirron? “No, no...it was simple hello, hi and nothing else,” said Kirron.
