Justin Baldoni claims Blake Lively tried to 'TRAP' him; demanded fully clothed intimate scene, refused body double
The Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni legal saga has continued into the new year, with new revelations coming to light in the multi-million dollar 'It Ends With Us' lawsuit. The new court documents have the director alleging that his leading lady, Blake, tried to ‘set him up for a trap’.
The new court documents obtained by TMZ have raised eyebrows over the private messages in which Baldoni shared his concerns with his then-agent, Danny Greenberg, describing a difficult time on set, while shooting an intimate scene. In the messages dated December 30, 2023, Baldoni wrote that he had a “really, really bad week” while working with Lively.
His texts seemed to indicate that Sony executives and producer Todd Black also intervened.
The message was sent five days before an “all-hands” meeting that saw Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, studio reps step in, and Lively reportedly presented a list of conditions and protections required before production could resume following the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
According to TMZ, Lively's team alleged that the messages were sent only after she detailed instances in which Baldoni and his business partner, Jamey Heath, created a 'hostile work environment' on set. The report stated that Baldoni at the time, had agreed to more than a dozen protections aimed at ensuring the safety of the cast and crew.
Baldoni has denied all allegations against him.
The legal battle between the actress and the director is scheduled to be heard in court on January 22.
