Ed Sheeran makes a rare revelation about his friendship with Taylor Swift: 'I literally spent every single day with her for six months...'
Indian fans are elated as Ed Sheeran has recently confirmed his collaboration with Arijit Singh. The singer told UK's commercial radio Heart, "I worked a lot with this Indian singer, Arijit Singh, who is really good and really wonderful. He basically lives in the middle of nowhere in India. It is like a three-hour flight and five-and-a-half-hour drive. I was in India with my dad. He (Arijit) was like, 'If you want the vocals, you would have to come to me."
While he's all praise for Arijit, in a recent interview he has made some rare revelations about his long-standing friendship with taylor Swift. Speaking about it on Call Her Daddy podcast, he said, "I lived in Nashville and she lived in Nashville and we used to fly to and from the gigs together and do all sorts of, I don't know. I literally spent almost every single day with her for about six months, so I think that period of time and I do, you know, I see her when I see her."
Though now, it's tough for them to spend that much time with each other. "I probably see her like four times a year and we do what I said — like instead of catching up the whole time, we have a proper sit-down, six-hour catchups and I think that's a really nice way to do it. But I think of that period, yeah. 2013,” he said.
He also described how he felt nostalgic about his opening act on Taylor's Red Tour which supported her 2012 album 'Red'. It featured that collaboration together called 'Everything Has Changed'.
In another interview, Ed had described their special friendship as he expressed that she's one of the only people that actually understands where he's at.
