'Deadpool' opens with 'Mera joota hai Japani'

Recently released superhero film, 'Deadpool,' starring Ryan Reynolds features one of the most iconic Bollywood songs, 'Mera joota hai Japani' from the film, 'Shree 420' (1955) in the first and last scene.

A source has been quoted in a Hindustantimes.com report as saying that Tim Miller, the director of Deadpool, had fell in love with the song when he had heard it at a New Zealand pub.
According to reports, when Tim Miller made Ryan Reynolds and the other crew members listen to the song, they fell in love with the song immediately. The source was further quoted as saying that when he was directing 'Deadpool,' he thought of using the same Indian song that he had heard in the pub, long back.
