Barbara Streisand calls Ariana Grande ‘sweet, kind and thoughtful’; recalls working with her on album

Barbara Streisand recently opened up about her love for Ariana Grande in a recent post. Sharing a throwback photo of herself with the ‘7 Rings’ singer, Streisand praised her talent, and added that Grande has a “beautiful voice like no other.”

Taking to her social media account, Streisand shared an old photo with fellow singer, and called her an ‘amazing’ and ‘talented’ woman. Her post further read that, “She can act, she can dance, she can be funny! She’s also sweet, kind and thoughtful. I’m very proud of you, Ariana and thanks for singing with me on my album… Big hug, Barbra. P.S. you were wonderful on Saturday Night Live and looked so pretty @arianagrande!”




Ariana Grande also replied to the post in the comment section by thanking the star for her sweet words. Her comment read, “Barbra !!!!!!!! what !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ���� oh my goodness, thank you so much for this kindest surprise today! you made my day, my year, my life! ��this means so much, coming from you. i just love you so. i miss you and i hope i get to hug you soon… all my love and appreciation. thank you. ������”

On the work front

Barbara Streisand and Ariana Grande are connected through their work on the ‘Meet the Parents’ franchise. While the veteran star worked on the 2004 film ‘Meet the Fockers’, Grande has been cast as one of the leads in the fourth installment, ‘Fockers-in-Law.’

Barbara released her latest album in June this year, titled ‘The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume 2.’ Grande and Stresand, along with Mariah Carey, collaborated on ‘One Heart, One Voice,’ one of the songs from her album. Ariana Grande garnered a lot of fame for her latest appearance in ‘Wicked: For Good’, where she played the role of Glinda the Good.
