FIR filed against Khesari Lal Yadav in cheque bounce case of Rs 22 lakh

An FIR has been filed against Bhojpuri singer-actor Khesari Lal Yadav for fraud of Rs 22 lakh. Khesari purchased land from a person named Mrityunjay Pandey in Ashani village, in the name of his wife.
The actor reportedly made the payment through a cheque of Rs 18 lakh and promised to give the balance amount later. However, the owner has now filed an FIR stating that the cheque provided by the actor has bounced twice in three months and the payment has not been cleared yet.
While talking to a website, Khesari stated that there is enough money in his account and the cheque shouldn’t be dishonoured. In his defense, the actor added that he had stopped the payment as fees for land alteration were yet to be paid by the owner.
