Looks revealed for Rani Creusa

Finally, Team Chetana has revealed the looks for its upcoming production, Rani Creusa. The director of the play, Sujan Mukhopadhyay, shared the photograph with CT. While Prabal Mondol has done the costume for the mediaeval characters, Ayan Ghosh has done the makeup. Based on the script penned by Bratya Basu, the play will be premiered on July 28 at Academy of Fine Arts.

. The play features Nibedita Mukhopadhyay, Supriyo Dutta in the lead along with Shaheb Chattopadhyay, who is debuting on stage in Kolkata. The play also features young actor Rishav Basu and Dayadh Mukhopadhyay and several other members of Chetana.

While speaking about his experience, Shaheb told us, “I said yes to this project to satisfy my soul as an actor. All I have to say is that I am super excited. Besides Saheb, veteran actor Supriyo Dutta will be seen as Logician Glocaus and Nibedita Mukherjee as Queen Cruesa. Veteran musician Prabuddha Banerjee is composing the score. Talking of music, the composer told us, “For this play, I have borrowed a Chinese instrument from a fellow musician, Joy Sarkar. It is called

Zhongruan

. It is going well with the play.”
