Young musician compares the pandemic with war, writes song

For young musician Akib Hayat, this ongoing pandemic is nothing less than a world war. Keeping in mind the casualties and impact of COVID-19 outbreak, he wrote and composed a new song, Tritiyo Bishwajuddha (The World War III).
“Evidently, the impact of this pandemic is hume. Besides the medical front,the impact on the socio-economic situation and, most importantly, on our psychology is huge.We are in some way traumatised. Hence I wanted to tell everyone that we can’t give in to the situation. We have to fight back for the sake of our civilisation,” Akib told us.
The musician wrote, composed and uploaded the song on March 19. Ever since, the video garnered a lot of appreciation. Keyboardist Sudipta Paul did a remote digital collaboration and played with the song. That video too was shared on social media.
