Amlaan bags two films as sole composer

It’s a double bonanza for young composer Amlaan Chakraborti. He has already been chosen as the sole composer for two films — Ankit Aditya’s Thai Curry and Pathikrit Basu’s untitled next. Thai Curry, which was shot completely in Thailand, is a comic caper with Soham, Hiraan, Rudranil Ghosh, Trina Saha, Bidya Sinha Mim and Rachel White in key roles. “There are four songs in the film and each is different from the other.There’s a romantic song, a dance track, a travel song and a theme song. For Pathikrit’s film, all the five songs have already been locked and Prasen will write the lyrics for them,” said Amlaan. Pathkrit’s movie stars Bonny Sengupta, Rupsha Mukhopadhyay, Aparajita Auddy and Saayoni Ghosh, among others.
