A perfect blend of horror and comedy in ‘Bhootchakra Pvt Ltd’ song ‘Banchao’

Here comes one of the most hilarious songs this year and also the first song ‘Banchao’ from Haranath Chakraborty’s horror comedy ‘Bhootchakra Pvt Ltd’.
It’s mainly a promotional song but is in complete sync with the film’s subject which brings in a perfect blend of horror and comedy. Written, sung and composed by none other than Anupam Roy, the music video focuses on the three main leads Soham Chakraborty, Gaurav Chakrabarty and Bonny Sengupta as they run into a comedy of errors.Be it the funny expressions or the bromance, each and every sequence in the song is enjoyable to the core. ‘Banchao’ also introduces the two leading ladies Srabanti Chatterjee and Rittika Sen in a very mysterious avatar. Plus, this is something unique from Anupam as well given his repertoire of melancholic melodies and soft romantic songs.

Mostly Bengali horror films have focused on adapting ghost stories from Bengali literature till now. Haranath Chakraborty’s earlier horror comedy ‘Chhayamoy’ was also an adaptation but ‘Bhootchakra Pvt Ltd’ is the brainchild of Padmanabha Dasgupta who has penned both the story and screenplay for this film.
