What's Devlina Kumar up to these days?

Devlina Kumar is caught up with three films at the same time. One among them is Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha’s Samsaara. A psychological thriller, the film stars Ritwick Chakraborty, Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, Indrajit Chakraborty, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Tnusree Chakraborty and Arja Banerjee, among others. “In the film, I play wife to Indrajit Chakraborty’s character. The two share a curious past.After being estranged for years, the husband finds her married to an older man. While the woman claims to be another person, the husband believes that she has come back to take revenge on him. There’s a lot more to the story and I can’t divulge it right now. But it’s challenging to play wife to two men at the same time,” she said. Devlina, who is working with the director duo — known for films like Teen Yaari Katha, Benche Thakar Gaan, Cross Connection, Cross Connection 2, Biye Not Out, Jodi Love Diley Na Praane — for the first time, said, “The best part is that they are thoroughly disciplined. The shooting schedule is entirely planned and they stick to the call time. So, 9.30 am means 9.30 am for them. I will shoot on Sunday for the film and then in Shillong again in February.” That part, Devlina is part of Circuser Ghora and another as-yet-untitled film with director Sumit Das. “The latter is completely about the multiple shades of one character. I play the central role in the film. Along with me, there’s Adhiraj, who has worked with Kamaleswar Mukherjee,” she added.
