Actor
Vikram Chatterjee and filmmaker
Tathagata Mukherjee are coming up with their next project titled Pariah. The motion poster of the film was launched on social media recently. Pariah revolves around an outcast, ostracized young man and his unconditional love for stray dogs. The film will depict his life, his background, his loneliness, his highs and lows, and eventually his journey towards becoming a messiah for the pariah dogs.
About the concept, writer-director Tathagata said, “Pariah tells a story of rebellion. Pariah means outcast. Indian stray dogs are called Pariah. In this motion poster, lead actor
Vikram Chatterjee is seen as the protector of a pup and shouting out loud while holding an iron rod. This motion poster depicts violence and brutality. Vikram takes charge of protection for all the pariahs as no one speaks for them, no one fights for them. Our viewers will see Vikram in such an avatar for the first time.”
The background score of the film has been composed in accordance with the story concept. “It has relevant sharpness, emotion, and rage. Anindit Roy and Adeep Singh Manki are the masterminds behind this symphony,” said the director.
