‘Helicopter Eela’s release date has been pushed further to October 12 as director Pradeep Sarkar has been diagnosed with dengue and Tota Roy Choudhury who is playing a key role in the film has wished a speedy recovery for his ‘captain’. As soon as the new release date for ‘Helicopter Eela’ was announced the Bengali actor took to his Twitter handle to send a ‘get well soon’ message to Pradeep Sarkar.

He wrote: “Not without our captain! Get well soon Dada, @pradeepsrkar We will watch the film together.”

Earlier also, the director had to leave his treatment midway to shoot Amitabh Bachchan's cameo appearance in the film on August 14. Sarkar was admitted to the hospital on August 11.
‘Helicopter Eela’ is a light-hearted emotional drama that revolves around a single mother Eela (Kajol) and her teenage son, played by National Award-winning young actor Riddhi Sen. The film has been produced by Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada.
