Team Aranyadeb launches merchandise at charity event

The Chemould School of Art in association with the Kolkata Police and Rotary club had organized a Save a Child Heart project recently at Ripon Street.
Around 2000 children were involved in a sit-and-draw competition, and the paintings were later auctioned. The cast and crew of Debasis Sen Sharma's directorial venture Aranyadeb, starring Jisshu Sengupta, Mir, Arunima Ghosh, Sreelekha Mitra and others were involved in the project and launched its merchandise (coffee mugs, paper caps and others) during the event.The movie revolves around Aranya and Dev, two men who were introduced toi the concept of super-heroes in their childhood through superhero comics. Actress Sreelekha Mitra gave away the prizes to the winners. ���It was a great experience being here today. This is such a great initiative and I, on behalf of the whole team of Aranyadeb thank Chemould and Kolkata Police for this opportunity. Some of the drawings by the kids are absolutely wonderful, and it���s amazing to have witnessed their talent��� remarked Sreelekha.
