In Suman Ghosh’s upcoming ‘Basu Poribar’, Soumitra Chatterjee and Aparna Sen will be reuniting on screen after a gap of almost 19 years. The ageless pair was last seen together in ‘Paromitar Ekdin’ (2000). While this is Suman Ghosh’s 4th film with Soumitra, he is collaborating with Aparna Sen for the first time and it was an amazing experience for the director to work with the legendary pair.

‘Basu Poribar’ is stated for a release on April 5. The family drama has an ensemble cast including Rituparna Sengupta, Aparna Sen, Soumitra Chatterjee, Sudiptaa Chakraborty, Jisshu Sengupta, Saswata Chatterjee, Paran Bandopadhyay and Lili Chakraborty.
