Soumitrisha Kundoo to star in Atonko

Actor Soumitrisha Kundoo is set to lead the upcoming thriller Atonko, a 24-episode series that will be released in phases, with the first six episodes premiering initially.The series follows Purba, a woman grappling with years of abuse, fear and unresolved trauma. As the story unfolds, the narrative explores the blurred lines between reality and psychological wounds, creating a suspense-driven journey centered on truth, memory and survival.Speaking about the project, Soumitrisha said the layered portrayal of Purba drew her to the role. She shared that the character’s emotional depth and complexity offered her an opportunity to explore difficult themes and experiences through a compelling narrative.“With Atonko, I get to go somewhere even deeper.
