Prosenjit, Chinni Prakash team up after fifteen years

Chinni Prakash has choreographed a song for Prosenjit in Rajibs next
Prosenjit, Chinni Prakash team up after fifteen years
Fifteen years back, they worked in the film, Mit Mere Maan Ke. And now, the duo is back together to make some noise in Rajibs next. We are talking about actor Prosenjit Chatterjee and choreographer Chinni Prakash. The film in question? Bikram Singha: The Lion is Back.
An elated Prosenjit tells us from Mumbai, It is an honour to work with Chinniji.
1x1 polls
In my career spanning decades, I have hardly come across a choreographer with such sound technical knowledge. And that makes him a class apart. He was in London working with Rajinikanthji and from there he came down to Mumbai to work with me on the introductory song of BS:TLIB. Chinniji is known for his trend-setting steps. And I hope that the introductory song of Rajibs film, which he choreographed for me, too becomes a rage. He is the first one to have introduced top shots, rotating top shots, back lights and elaborate backgrounds in choreography.
The track sung by Bappi Lahiri goes like Ulteh debo, palteh debo, sujog pele saalteh debo and the actor is hopeful that this feel-good song will go down well with the audience.
Chinni Prakash too is confident that the tune and lyrics added to the moves will make the introductory song a huge hit. This film marks Bumbas comeback in commercial cinema after a hiatus. I choreographed the steps keeping in mind his popularity and also his maturity as an actor. And I am sure the kids will be dancing to the steps soon! Kudos to Bumba. He is a choreographers delight, who never says no to anything and his stardom doesnt ever come in the way of work. The perfectionist that he is, Bumba doesnt mind rehearsing a step 100 times, says Chinni.
And its not just the choreographer, who is looking forward to the film. Prosenjits son, Trishanjit, too is no less excited about his fathers commercial comeback. He was with me in Hyderabad, where I was shooting the action sequences. He asked me, Baba tumi ki sudhu maar khachho gundader kachhe naki tumio oder marchho? I assured him that I too would bash up the goons and on hearing that he heaved a sigh of relief, adds the doting father.
