“The story revolves around a girl who comes to a police station to file a missing diary of her elder sister. The suspect in the case is her brother-in-law, Ronojoy Sanyal.
The police, initially, refuse to file a complaint as Ronojoy is an influential businessman-turned-politician, but later give in. Whether or not the girl finds her sister is what the film is all about,” said the director, who has also penned the story. Paayel, who is looking forward to working in the film, said, “It is for the first time that I will be playing a character which has grey shades. It is quite a challenging role but I’m ready take
it up.” The film will go on the floors on September 2 and will be shot in and around Kolkata.
