Mithun Chakraborty’s daughter Dishani on cloud nine after Al Pacino praises her acting skills

Dishani is surely making a mark. She recently made her debut in theatre with a performance at her university ‘Lee Strasberg Institute’. She was part of Theresa Rebeck’s play, ‘Seminar’ directed by Kymberly Harris.
While the play garnered a lot of attention, it was praised by even acting legend Al Pacino and he even advised them to continue running the show.Dishani is a young actor and undoubtedly has a huge pedigree to live up to that is the legendary Mithun Chakraborty. She says her phone hasn’t stopped ringing and the praises are coming from all corners.

Speaking about her monumental achievement Dishani shared, “It’s just such a surreal feeling. Growing up, acting was something I always knew that I wanted to do, but to actually perform in front of a legendary actor like Pacino sir himself was unimaginable. I love drama and theatre and this is a very humbling beginning. I hope I make dad proud. It’s one step at a time and I am not looking too far ahead. Just giving my best each day. For the unversed, Dishani is the adopted daughter of Mithun Chakraborty. Mithun da had reportedly adopted Dishani after she was discovered near a garbage bin when she was just a baby.
The daddy's girl has already made her acting debut in 2017 with a short film ‘Holy Smoke’ which was directed by her brother Ushmey Chakraborty. She also appeared in two other short films ‘Underpass’ and ‘Subtle Asian Dating with PBM’.
