The mahurat ceremony of
Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat was held recently, attended by its lead stars
Jeet, Tota Roychoudhury and
Rajatava Dutta. Director Pathikrrit Basu, along with the film’s cast and crew, was also present to mark the beginning of what promises to be a compelling cinematic journey.
Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat is set against the backdrop of 1960s Kolkata and delves into the blurred lines between rebellion and crime, justice and vengeance. The film follows Ananta—an aging, mysterious figure whose daring robberies against the powerful divide public opinion. For some, he’s a criminal; for others, a revolutionary hero.
As Inspector Durga Roy pursues him, the story unfolds across shifting timelines, revealing Ananta’s past as a devoted freedom fighter under Masterda Surya Sen and his transformation into a disillusioned man challenging a corrupt system.
Speaking at the launch, Pathikrrit shared that the story has been close to his heart for years, and he is thrilled to bring it alive with such an accomplished ensemble. The film, promising intensity and moral depth, is expected to begin shooting soon.
