President Trump ruled out firing U.S. Tomahawk cruise missiles on behalf of Ukraine, telling reporters the United States will not be “launching Tomahawks for Zelensky.” He argued the weapons require a lengthy training curve — “it’ll take a year” to learn to use them — and insisted “the only way a Tomahawk is gonna be shot is if we shot it,” adding bluntly, “and we’re NOT gonna do that.” The comments mark a sharp pullback from earlier public openness to supplying long-range missiles to Kyiv.
