Koel starts prepping for ‘Mitin Mashi’

After Byomkesh Bakshi, Feluda, and Kiriti Roy, another detective from the pages of Bengali literature is set to appear on the big screen. Director Arindam Sil is making a detective thriller based on Suchitra Bhattacharya's Mitin Masi for the Bengali audience. The filmmaker, who is well known for his Byomkesh and Shabor films, will kick start shooting for the film in July while Koel Mallick will play the titular character.
On Wednesday, the pretty actress took to her Twitter handle to share a picture which clearly shows Arindam and his team is all geared up for the project as the director can be seen discussing script with Koel and other members of the cast.
While seasoned actor Vinay Pathak will play a key role in the movie, Arunima Ghosh and Subharajit Dutta who has been a key part of Arindam’s Goyenda Shabor series will essay pivotal roles. Sil has chosen the story titled "Haate Matro Teen Din" for the first movie on Mitin Masi. Camelia Production is bankrolling the venture and eyeing a Puja release for the film.
