The shooting of
Mitin Masi is finally over. Currently, the post production work of the film is on in full swing and director Arindam Sil has no time to breathe. When we asked him the reason, the director said, “We are under tremendous pressure. The film is slated to release on October 2. Hence, the print has to be ready by September 20. I just have a month and a few days left.
We had a tight shooting schedule of 17 days. That’s a record. The next day, I was in my office. The post production is going on now. Besides, there are other projects that are keeping me busy.”However, Arindam is happy about how the film has shaped up. “The entire team is super excited with the look and feel of the film. Also, everyone is raving about Koel’s (Mallick) performance. There will be wrap-up party soon,” he said.
Soon, Arindam will be travelling to Mumbai. “I have to go to Mumbai soon, as some talks are on regarding four or five new projects. Once I am back, I am sure I will be in a position to break a big news to all of you,” he assured.
Not just film -related works, Arindam will also be visiting the Jaipur Film Festival, where he has been invited for a talk. “I will be expressing my views on the topic: Locations used in Bengali films. This is on August 25 and 26. Before that, I will be in Siliguri for another film festival. My travel will not end there. I did not meet my daughter for a really long. Hence, by the end of this month, I will be travelling to Bangalore to meet her,” he signed off.
