Here’s how Paoli Dam came on board for ‘Tritiya Adhyay’

Manoj Michigan’s soon-to-be-released ‘Tritiya Adhyay’ sees the Abir Chatterjee and Paoli Dam jodi returning to the big screen after Mainak Bhaumik's ‘Bedroom’ in 2012. Touted to be a dark love story, it’s a romantic thriller which promises to deliver another thrilling cinematic experience after Manoj’s ‘Aami Joy Chatterjee’ last year. So, what convinced the director to cast Paoli opposite Abir? When asked about the same Manoj Michigan says Paoli is just perfect for the female character of Shreya.
“The first name came to my mind for Shreya’s character is Paoli. Also, Abir and Paoli has worked together once, that too 5/7 years ago. She is perfect for the character just like Abir as Kaushik, be it her body language, looks, dialogue throw. This is the first time I worked with Paoli and it’s great to have her on-board her. Casting her is any director's delight,” said Manoj.
The plot of ‘Tritiya Adhyay’ sees after a long gap, Kaushik (Abir), a sports teacher, meets Shreya (Paoli), a renowned botanist and his long lost love. The narrative sheds light on the background of their breakup, reunion and future.
