Keep calm and stay positive: Rukmini’s message to all

Rukmini Maitra has a few inspiring words to get you through these coronavirus pandemic crisis. It is important to try not to panic and do the best to stay safe and Rukmini’s message will surely help her fans keep calm and to stay positive through these times.

The pretty actress who will next be seen in ‘Switzerland’ suggests a few ways to remain optimistic through these times of quarantine and social distancing when people find themselves with a lot more time to appreciate the wonders of life instead of being caught up in the rat race.

“For instance, now is the time that we finally wake up to what we are missing out on, such as taking a walk in a park and soaking in nature’s beauty. On the bright side, we have more time to ourselves so we can enjoy activities we could not before, such as cooking a fresh meal from scratch at home or actually engaging with our family members whom we live with that we would otherwise take for granted. We have also woken up to the repercussions of abusing natural resources and are forced to be much more conscious of the environment. Indeed, with so much to be thankful for in life, why waste our time and thoughts on panicking for no good?” said the actress while spreading some positive vibe to raise social awareness.

Dev

It’s a friendly reminder. Washing your hands does not mean you need to have the tap running for 20 seconds. In the midst of one global crisis let’s not worsen another. Wash your hands, but save as much water as you can.

Nusrat Jahan

Let us all take precautionary measures and wash our hands every hour to prevent COVID-19. Remember to not waste water. Stay Safe. Stay Alert.

Rituparna Sengupta

Stay safe and take proper precautions! Do not panic, remember we shall overcome this tough time soon! This is the time I want to spend with my children. I want them to take up reading habits. I will read with them.

6/11

Arjun Chakrabarty

No one saw this coming. Now we can only hope to overcome this as soon as possible. Let’s not be complacent, let’s stick to the basic safety precautions. If you’re safe, you can keep your loved ones safe.

Birsa Dasgupta

Everything should be under lockdown if we want to flatten the curve. At the same time it is mandatory to take care of those around you. Isolation can beget depression, so find means to shower positive vibes. Don’t spread hatred because it unfurls inequality and panic.

Mimi Chakraborty

Thank you for all your love and concern. I am perfectly fine and is under self isolation. Meeting no one, not even my parents, dogs and house help. I am also using disposable plates. My office remains closed till 31 May. Please don’t spread rumour or panic. Be aware, rest you know what to do.

Everything is not a meme or a joke. More than 2000 people died in Italy. There’s no reason to panic unnecessarily if we invest some time to follow few simple rules instead of coming up with some innovative COVID19 jokes , this is a serious situation, a situation where money, religion or God can’t save us , too many people have died , the only way out is to think as a ‘species’ .

Srijit Mukherji

Due to the Corona outbreak and ensuing travel restrictions, had to come back a day earlier from the South Africa shoot of Kakababur Protyaborton. But since thanks to the incredibly concerted effort of the Indian and South African teams we were ahead of the schedule by roughly one and a half days, we could wrap up the shoot comfortably! Now for 14 days of a home quarantine as India enters the most crucial phase of the outbreak where individual cases spreads to the community. This is the phase from where Italy spiralled into a dystopian horror film where one of the most advanced health care systems in Europe is being forced to choose whom to save. We will have to see this through together, by not being together for some time.

11/11

Paoli Dam

Stepping outside when it is absolutely necessary but only with all precautions in place. Here’s hoping you are taking safety measures in case you have to step out at all. This is important for our own safety and the safety of others.
