Ditipriya to star opposite Vikram in Aditya’s debut feature film on a road trip

Ditipriya Roy and Vikram Chatterjee will star opposite each other in the first time on the big screen for Aditya Sengupta’s debut directorial feature film. The project, which will be a road film, will go on the floors in December. Ranajoy Bhattacharya will score the music for the film.
Talking about the film, Ditipriya said, “I played Adityada’s sister-in-law in Projapoti Biskut, and we have shared a cool relationship since then.Now, I will work for his vision. Meanwhile, I worked with Vikramda on an OTT project but there we were not cast opposite each other. Here, we are. I loved the idea that it revolves around a road trip. I am a fan of road trips and hence, I think I would be able to totally relate to it.”
Vikram too seemed pretty excited. “A simple depiction and a fresh approach are important aspects of the film. We are a new pair for the audience and will be a part of a good story and presentation. This is what attracted me the most,” he said.
Although Aditya entered showbiz as an actor, he has been writing scripts for popular directors for a long time now. “I penned scripts for Rajda (Chakrabarty), Raja Chanda and others. I directed ad films, shorts and television films. But this is big for me. I will be directing a full-blown feature film for the big screen. This in itself is super exciting for me,” he said.
