Dev's cameo as Payal's lover?

While Sujit Mondal claims that the Tolly heartthrob has no role in his upcoming ��Bawaali Unlimited��, a unit member insists otherwise

It��s no secret that Dev is Sujit Mondal��s blue-eyed boy. So, it came as a surprise when the filmmaker got busy shooting his next, titled ��Bawaali Unlimited��, with Joy and Payel. So, no Dev in the film? But the cat��s out of the bag now.
Well, almost. If sources are to be believed, then Tollywood��s ��Romeo�� will be seen in a cameo in ��BU��.
A unit member revealed, ��Dev will be seen in a guest appearance here, as Payel��s love interest.��
The director, however, vehemently denied Dev��s presence in the film. ��Dev has given me tremendous support but he is not part of this film.�� He added that this is the first time that he has penned the story and script of a film.

��This is a situational comedy, where I am working with a new pairing. It is about a getting what you want in life but after overcoming hurdles. This journey though is depicted through satire. The story is set in a palace where two old men played by Sabyasachi Chakrabarty and Rajatava Dutta live,�� he said. And while on the cast, this is also the first time that the film��s hero, Joy, will be working with the director. He said, ��I have always wanted to work with Sujitda. We have known each other for two-three years now. So, when this offer came my way, I did not want to give it a miss.��

This is also the first time that the audience will get to see Joy in a romantic and comic avatar. ��So far, I have done only actionpacked roles. In fact, post-��Target��, I was involved in a couple of films which did not garner suitable returns. But I am hopeful that my fans won��t be disappointed with my character here. I play Santu, who c o m e s from the suburbs to Kolkata with dreams of becoming a superstar. But he loses everything in the city. At this point, Santu spots an ad in the paper, where a lady dance teacher is required,�� he said.
Joy now dons the garb of Soniya and goes to Payel��s house. ��She plays Moon Moon who has considers Benuda and Ronida as two fathers. They have a production house and Santu realizes that Moon Moon is his means to fulfil his dreams. But Santu falls in love with her and now introduces Santo as Soniya��s son. I play Santu, Soniya and Santo,�� he added.
Even Sourav, a part of the cast, flaunts three avatars. ��Payel is the innocent, mysterious girl in the film,�� said Sujit and added that the film was wrapped within 26 days and the unit is yet to decide on the outdoor locations for the song sequences.
As for Payel, she is happy to be testing different waters, ��Moon Moon has a past. She is confused about whom she loves. Whether it��s Joy or Sourav, Moon Moon is in a dilemma when it comes to true love.��
