Kolkata���s Alipore Zoological garden���s popular resident is in search of a mate! A matrimonial ad has been put up for the poor fellow who is feeling lonely without the company of his liking. Requests are being made to zoos across the country to help find a mate for the male chimpanzee. MP Derek O���Brien who was at an event to launch the Adopt an Animal programme at the zoo on Sunday announced on his twitter id ���Matrimonial ad.The male chimpanzee at the #Kolkata zoo needs a mate. Will any of India's other zoos please make his day. Seriously, let me know.��� While some of his followers joked about what caste, qualifications he was looking for and putting up the ad on matrimonial websites, we sure hope this Friendship Day works out well for the lonely soul. And yes, Kolkata would love to have a baby chimpanzee too
