This year all the more because we are fighting a global health crisis. COVID-19 has spread all over the world and people are suffering everywhere. By bursting crackers, we only add to their owes. It also pollutes the environment and degrades the air quality. Old people, those with heart diseases and anxiety, animals on the streets and pets at home - all fear the noise it creates. Besides, we all know that the virus attacks through the respiratory system so going soundless and smokeless is the responsible thing to do this Diwali,” she said.
