Arunima to play wife of Kiriti Roy

Arunima Ghosh is happy to have bagged the role of Krishna, Kiriti Roy's wife in Anindya Bikas Dutta's film on the sleuth. The movie is based on Nihar Ranjan Gupta's Kalo Bhramar, where Indraneil Sengupta will play the detective.
���For the first time a film is being made on Kiriti Roy , where I will essay his wife Krishna's character. As no actor has played Krishna, unlike Satyababti of Byomkesh Bakshi, there will be no comparision.In fact, I will be the first to create an on-screen image of the character. In this film, Krishna has a lot of screen space. The story shows how, after saving her from a difficult situation, Kiriti falls in love with her. The courtship ends in marriage.Krishna is intelligent, happens to be a good singer, has a mind of her own and takes keen interest in her husband's work.So, as an actress, I have a lot to prove,��� said Arunima.
The actress was earlier paired opposite Indraneil in Bappaditya Bandopadhyay's Nayika Sangbad. ���Working with Indraneil is fun and I think he is the best choice for Kiriti Roy ,��� said the actress.
The film will go on the floors from end-January .
