Aritra Mukherjee’s next is a take on body shaming

On Women’s Day, Aritra Mukherjee announced his third film, Fatafati, starring Ritabhari Chakraborty and Abir Chatterjee in the lead. The shooting of the film will start mid-April and will be shot in Kolkata. Ritabhari, who plays the female lead in this film, took to social media to announce her next and wrote: Gaining weight for a film has been a much more difficult journey than losing weight for one because as an actress this is not how you want to see a woman as per societies standards. While Abir wrote: Let’s learn to celebrate ourselves…(sic)Speaking to Calcutta Times, Aritra said, “The audience will get to see a new pairing this time. It will be my second film with Ritabhari and first with Abir. The film will focus on how body shaming has become a regular affair in society. The crux of the film says we should all be confident in our bodies.”
