Bengali cinema is set to welcome a fresh rom-com family entertainer as
Nari Choritro Bejay Jotil, starring
Ankush and Oindrilla Sen, gets ready to hit the big screen.
The film, directed by the duo Sumeet-Saahil, promises a laugh riot with a heart. The story revolves around Jhontu, a street-smart yet hilariously clueless man played by Ankush, who struggles to understand the women around him. His well-meaning but often misguided attempts lead him into a rollercoaster of funny situations, only to realize that comprehending women may just be the toughest challenge of his life.
Sharing his excitement, Ankush said, “My journey as an actor started with action-packed, comedy family entertainers. Our last film
Mirza was an action drama, but this time we are bringing back a light-hearted rom-com that families can enjoy together. I am glad to announce my next venture with
Nari Choritro Bejay Jotil.”
Along with Ankush and Oindrilla, the film boasts a stellar cast of women essaying strong, layered roles, including theatre stalwarts Sohag Sen and Sohini Sengupta, as well as Ipshita Mukherjee. Their presence is expected to add depth and variety to this quirky comedy.
With its unique title, promising premise, ensemble cast,
Nari Choritro Bejay Jotil is already creating buzz as a crowd-pleaser that blends humor, family drama, and relatable characters into one entertaining package.
