The seasoned actress was spotted alongside many Bollywood stalwarts including Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, Salman Khan, and Kriti Sanon to name a few. While Jaya's choice of outfit grabbed all the attention of her fans back home, one photo from the series of pictures she shared on Instagram became the talk of the town.

In one of the pictures, the Bengali beauty was seen with ‘Dahaad’ actor Vijay Varma and we all know how the relationship rumours between Vijay and Tamannaah Bhatia have been selling like a hot cake of late. Jaya looked absolutely ravishing in a blue and white muslin saree and the actor later revealed that she was introduced to Vijay Varma by director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. Incidentally, Jaya is making her Bollywood debut in the ‘Lost’ director’s next film. Jaya also revealed that she has watched ‘Dahaad’ twice and Vijay Varma’s stellar act has floored her. She spoke to the actor for 10 minutes and it was great to interact with him.

Since January this year, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Verma have been making headlines. They were seen together at a New Year party in Goa. A viral video of the two actors hugging and kissing on New Year's Eve sparked rumours that they were dating. Since then the two have made quite a few public appearances but have so far remained tight-lipped about their relationship status. However, rumours about their alleged affair have spread like wildfire. Previously, Tamannaah was asked about the speculation about her rumoured relationship with Vijay. While speaking to a media outlet, the ‘Baahubali’ actress stated, “We have done a film together. Such rumours keep going around. Clarifying all of them is just not necessary. I have nothing more to say about it.”

While Jaya got the chance to meet her favourite actor, she looked every bit gorgeous in the muslin saree worn in a dhoti style, along with cutwork lace. Embellished with embroidery and mirror work, the Bangladeshi actor paired up her traditional attire with a deep neck cobalt blue sleeveless blouse. She mesmerized all wearing a necklace with pearls and precious stones.

During a recent media interaction, Jaya Ahsan was asked how it feels to be single and her swift response won everyone’s heart. The Bangladeshi actress who’s currently one of the most sought-after actors in Tollywood said that after observing what’s happening around her, she feels she’s better off being single. However, Jaya was also honest about her personal life as she confessed that there are times when she does miss such moments of having tea together and discussing things, but that too gets compensated by her family members. In fact, the seasoned actor doesn’t want to call herself ‘happily single’; instead she prefers the word ‘self-partnered’.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Jaya Ahsan’s next film ‘Ardhangini, directed by Kaushik Ganguly, is set to release in theatres on June 2. The relationship drama also stars Kaushik Sen and Churni Ganguly in the lead. The film shows how Suman’s (Kaushik Sen) sudden accident, compels the two women in his life – Meghna (Jaya), his wife, and Subhra (Churni), his ex-wife – to meet each other. The plot revolves around the awkward emotional duel between the two in a time of personal crisis. The way the two women deal with the situation and balance it with dignity despite going through emotional turmoil is the film’s primary takeaway.
