Did You Know: Prosenjit loves duck eggs!

Be it food over adda or adda over food, Bangalis never seem to have enough of either. So, when an opportunity to enjoy both — in copious amounts — came our celebs' way, calorie count took an obvious backseat.

Be it food over adda or adda over food, Bangalis never seem to have enough of either. So, when an opportunity to enjoy both — in copious amounts — came our celebs' way, calorie count took an obvious backseat.
The dinner hosted by Anilavaa Chatterjee on Monday was fun beyond food. When Prosenjit Chatterjee, chief guest for the evening, turned up for the do, secrets like his love for 'haansher dim' (duck egg) came tumbling out of the closet.

“It's true that I stay miles away from food, but there was no saying no to Anilavaa," said Tollywood's numero uno actor. Later in the evening, Chandrabindoo took to the stage and had the audience floored, not just with music but also a good dose of humour. “This song is for a special someone in Upal's life. But it's up to you to guess since there are too many," said Anindya before his bandmate began singing, Gaan bhalobeshe gaan. There were many requests for Adorer nouka, Mon and Pashbalish and the duo was happy to oblige their fans.
Celeb couples Joy Sarkar-Lopamudra Mitra and Saptak-Manali were joined by the newlyweds Sudipta Chakraborty-Avishek Saha, much to the delight of their friends. “The best part about the evening is that it's more of a homely adda than a formal gather ing," chirped director Sudeshna Roy. Guests ended the evening with some mouthwatering Bengali food, including potoler dolma, maach her paturi and kosha mangsho. About the goss-food debate, we don't know what lasted longer — lal doi or the last bit of adda!
